Engineers and designers from Japan have developed a prototype of a modular system of additional wearable robotic arms JIZAI ARMS. The system consists of a base unit that is worn on the back like a backpack, and up to six robotic limbs can be attached to it. A report describing the development was presented as part of the CHI ’23 conference.
