Rotor Technologies begins production of a full-size unmanned helicopter for civilian use. Based on the Robinson R44 Raven II, the R550X can spend more than three hours in the air, reaching speeds of up to 241 km/h and carrying up to 550 kg of cargo. Equipped with intelligent sensors, the R550X can fly at night and in challenging low visibility conditions. The machine has 6 control channels, including satellite communication. Its deliveries are expected to begin in 2024.
