Researchers from the University of Southern California have demonstrated a new type of electronic memory chip capable of reliably operating at temperatures reaching 700 degrees Celsius, significantly exceeding the limits of traditional electronics. During testing, the memory chip showed no signs of reaching its operational limit, with the researchers noting that 700 degrees Celsius was simply the maximum temperature their test equipment could handle.
